It is hope that gives an individual purpose and the desire to create change; but when a child is born into poverty, war and disease, it is hard to find such hope. At Ukids, we start with relationships; connecting with children who feel invisible by simply loving them. We understand where they come from and we encourage them to rise above their circumstances and strive for excellence. We help them to see themselves as God sees them. We strengthen them by believing in them and we validate them by caring for them. We encourage them to have HOPE, so they can have FAITH to keep moving toward the MIRACLES.

Yes, we whole-heartedly surrender ourselves to these beautiful faces. Our days are spent planning the next time we can hold them. We give our time and resources to help them develop into well rounded and successful adults. They have a tender way of grabbing your heart and it is us who are blessed by them. From the moment a little hand latches onto your finger or a small but mighty arm wraps tightly around your neck, you realize this is more than a one-time experience. It is the beginning of a relationship; a miracle woven by God. When God said GIVE and it shall be GIVEN to you good measure, pressed down and running over, could it be that He was also talking about the over abundant love of an orphan? We think so.
