EDUCATION TRANSFORMS LIVES
In 2008, Ukids broke ground on the Life Academy School in Seeta, Uganda. Immediately upon completion of the first level, Christian Life Ministries filled the classrooms with hundreds of children, expanding their education program for orphans and vulnerable children. Today, the school is four stories and capable of educating up to 2,000 primary level children. This year 30% of children advancing into high school scored in the TOP 10 percentile on their national exams. They are the future leaders of Uganda! We are in awe of what God is doing.
HELPING HEARTS HEAL

In 2013 Ukids partnered with Memory Books for Children International. Memory Books are an interactive booklet that invites a child to tell their story of loss, grieve the loss of those dear to them and discover their special role in God's greater story. Many of the children we work with do not know when they were born or exactly how old they are. With no parents to tell them about their life, they have only their memory to provide this heritage. This has helped to provide children with a document on which they can begin to record their life story. Since their founding in 2005, Memory Books have been given to 26,000 children across the globe. This will continue to our focus as we continue to build relationships and encourage healing in the hearts of children in Uganda.

A STORY ABOUT LOVE, COMPASSION AND GRACE

We have many wonderful stories about the relationships that have been built between members of our team and the children we serve. Many of them were young students in primary school when we first met them and now they are graduating from secondary school. These are the stories we have experienced first-hand as we encourage them through the struggles in life and see the grace of God work miracles in both their lives and ours.
We are working to share these stories with you so you can be encouraged by what is happening in Uganda.
